The Human Movement Analysis laboratory (LAMH) was born in March 2012. The equipment was funded by the French Community of Belgium and its construction by the university itself.
Projects within the laboratory are designed as multidisciplinary collaboration between several faculties of the university. The laboratory was originally developed between the faculty of Medicine (Professors Jean-Louis Croisier and Bénédicte Forthomme) and the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Professors Olivier Brüls, Serge Cescotto and Vincent Denoël). Other faculties have now projects within the laboratoy including the Veterinary Medicine Faculty, the Faculty of Sciences, and the Faculty of Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy and Education.
